In case articles have already been submitted and need adding or editing, the following steps need to be executed:
1.
Export the complete assortment from EZ-catalog and use this as ArticleImport.
2.
Adjust the additions and modifications. Article lines that contain no adjustments can stay in the ArticleImport: the ArticleImport will detect that there are no adjustments and ignore these lines. One could also make a selection out of the assortment and only put the added/modified article lines in the ArticleImport.
NB: only use the columns that say Advanced (chapter 4, only in Dutch) in consultation with EZ-base.
NB: when editing a column that contains an article group feature (chapter 3.3.2.1, only in Dutch), one must always put the entire article group in the ArticleImport.
3.
Now apply the pre-check to the Article import file: check that nothing has been added, changed or deleted unintentionally.
4.
EZ-base will now check the file. Feedback will be given on possible improvements. When the file is correct, EZ-base will submit the file.
5.
Upload the accompanying assets . These assets will automatically be matched to the correct article if the name is exactly similar to that in the ArticleImport (the extension need not to be equal).
6.
7.
All the necessary steps have now been completed. EZ-base will confirm the articles. Then, during the night processing, the changes made in EZ-catalog will be synchronised to EZ-web. The next day the articles will be displayed in EZ-web.
