Translations

 
 
EZ-base is a multilingual program. The application is available in multiple languages (application language). The article data in the database can also be displayed in multiple languages (data language). This means that suppliers can manage their data in multiple languages.
 
With the help of a text balloon it is made visible if a field is translatable in the application.
Press function key F5 to add the translation and adjust:

Note: translating with F5 is only possible if the data is already saved in the default language. 
 
All the fields that need to be translated can also be imported at once. This is possible through the Translated article import.
 
It is also possible to translate field by field. This can be done using Export translations and Import translations.
Using this, several tables in the database can be translated (for example fields in the article group table, classification, unit or feature). It is an accessible way to see what is already translated, to check this and to add new translations.
 
We advise as follows:
1. Select Export translations. Here select the desired lable type and language in which translations need to be added/adjusted. Multiple options are possible: please find here the full explanation. Export the translations and fill in the right translations in the exported file. By using the exported file, the necessary columns are already filled and only the missing or incorrect translations have to be entered.
2. After completing activity 1, select Import translations.
