In case a feature (e.g. length) is described with a value and a unit (e.g. 10 mm), the unit (mm)is supposed to be in a separate field Unit and the value (10) in a separate field Value.
By doing so, for example the graphic design of web shops and catalogues can be managed. It also provides better standardization and filtering possibilities.
It could occur that a supplier submits the unit in the Value column, which is not right. In this case one can Separate units.
