Classification level

Articlegroups in EZ-base are classified in a sensible and standardized order. This is called classification. The classification structure always consists of 4 layers.

An example to clarify this:

The first, global classification, level 1:

• Bevestigingsmaterialen

• IJzerwaren

• Machines

• Elektra

• etc.

Under example level 1 'Machines' level 2 is found

• Accu gereedschap

• Elektrisch gereedschap

• Handbediende machines

• etc.

Under example level 2 'Elektrisch gereedschap' level 3 is found

• Boorhamers

• Breekhamers

• Boormachines

• Freesmachines

• etc.

Under example level 3 'Boormachines' level 4 is found

• Boormachine

• Boormachine haaks

• Klopboormachine

• etc.

Here 'Boormachine haaks' is classified in the 4 level classification:

Machines -> Elektrisch gereedschap -> Boormachines -> Boormachine haaks.
