Asset is a collective name for additional information that can be stored per classification, article groups and per article. An asset can consist of various information (recorded in the software), such as images, logos, URLs, icons and videos.
Per classification, article group and article, 0, 1 or more assets can be saved.
The file names of the Assets can be imported with the Article Import.
The files themselves can be uploaded in EZ-catalog (with the exception of URL's), independently of the Article importer.
The assets will automatically be linked to the correct article if the naming is exactly the same (the extension does not have to be the same).

The descriptions under CategoryNL/Categories/CategoryFR/CategoryDU and also the descriptions of the standard AssetCategory in the table below can be used with the Article Import to establish to which asset category an asset belongs (in the import language). Feature pictogram
A feature can be displayed as a pictogram.
Value pictogram
A value can be displayed as a pictogram. Only for the value colour, pictograms are currently used. If there is a need for a different type of pictogram than colour, please contact EZ-base.

The Internet address to a page in the browseable publication where information on the article concerned can be found. This asset is different because when EZ-base posts a publication, this asset is added by the software. It cannot, therefore, be added manually by the users of EZ-base via, for example, Assets.
